Family Support Director (The "Vessel" Leader)

  • Mission: You are the guardian of the Lark & Lavender brand and the primary liaison for our families. You ensure that our "vessel" operates at the highest standard of safety and excellence.
     

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily operations across our "Family Support" sites (Albany & Schenectady).

    • Maintain 100% compliance with NYS OCFS regulations and health standards.

    • Lead and mentor a team of Educators to ensure core values are met.

    • Manage family enrollment and build deep, trusting relationships with the community.
       

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a closely related area.

    • 2+ years of Center Director experience in NYS.

    • Expertise in OCFS licensing and SFS vendor systems.

o Legacy Administrative Assistant

Legacy Administrative Assistant

  • Mission: You are the backbone of our administrative excellence, ensuring the "business of care" is as seamless and professional as the service itself.
     

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage SFS (State Financial System) billing and OCFS paperwork.

    • Coordinate the rental of our "Study Rooms" for community seminars and workshops.

    • Serve as the first point of contact—welcoming families with professionalism and grace.

    • Maintain the digital "Career Page" and "Legacy Pantry" inventory.
       

  • Requirements: High School Diploma (Associate's preferred); strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Grant Portals).

Education & Specialist Roles

Family Support Teacher Leader (Infant – School Age)

  • MISSION: To guide children through their daily development, creating a radiant environment where every lesson contributes to a lasting legacy of learning.
     

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement age-appropriate "Legacy Curriculums."

    • Lead and mentor Teacher Assistants to maintain classroom excellence.

    • Communicate with parents with the empathy and candor of a dedicated partner.

    • Lead "Study Room" sessions using our wall-to-wall library to spark a love of reading.
       

  • Requirements: CDA or associate’s in early childhood, Psychology, or Social Work; First Aid/CPR certified.

o Family Support Teacher Assistant

  • Role Overview: Provides essential support to the Teacher Leader in daily classroom operations and child supervision.
     

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in implementing daily activities and curriculum across all age groups.

    • Provide direct supervision and high-quality care for children.

    • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
       

  • Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; experience in a group setting.

Study Room & Literacy Specialist (Part-Time)

  • MISSION: To transform our library into a sanctuary for learning. You help children and adults alike find their "Light" through literature and professional workshops.
     

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • o    Curate the collection of books to ensure a timeless standard of literature.
      o    Manage the rental schedule for the Study Room for corporate meetings and seminars.
      o    Assist school-age children with literacy and research projects.
       

  • Requirements: Experience in library sciences, teaching, or community organizing.

Nutritional Specialist (Cook)

  • Role Overview : Manages kitchen operations and prepares healthy meals following CACFP and OCFS guidelines.
     

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • o    Plan and prepare daily meals/snacks; manage inventory and ordering.
      o    Maintain high standards of kitchen safety and food sanitation.
      o    Accommodate specific dietary needs and allergies for children in care.
       

  • Requirements: Professional cooking experience; Food Safety/DOH certification preferred.

Sanitation & Health Assistant

Sanitation & Health Assistant

  • Role Overview: Ensures the facility maintains the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene to protect the health of children and staff.
     

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute daily cleaning and disinfection schedules for all areas.

    • Ensure restrooms and kitchen areas are sanitized according to health codes.

    • Monitor cleaning supply inventory and identify maintenance hazards.
       

  • Requirements: Strong attention to detail; knowledge of sanitation protocols.

EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Luxury Executive Director of Operations

  • Role Overview: Senior Executive Leadership | Reports To: CEO Mission: To serve as the primary architect of the "Vessel," driving strategic expansion, brand excellence, and the long-term sustainability of the organization’s mission

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead physical expansion into new markets; oversight of high-level budgets; represent the organization at state leadership levels; ensure "Body and Soul" brand integrity.

  • Education Requirements: Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Public Administration (MPA), or Early Childhood Management.

  • Experience: 10+ years of executive-level operational experience.

  • Salary Range: $115,000 – $155,000 per year.

Chief of Staff & Operations

Chief of Staff & Operations

  • Role Overview: Executive Steward | Reports To: Luxury Executive Director of Operations Mission: To execute the daily "Order of Operations" (6:45 AM – 11:45 PM) with absolute precision, managing the W-2 faculty and facility flow.

  • Key Responsibilities: Direct supervision of all faculty; 100% NYS OCFS regulatory mastery; daily operational scheduling; conflict resolution with a concierge approach.

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, Management, or Human Resources

  • Experience: 5–8 years in high-level administration or operations management.

  • Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year.

THE SANITATION & LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT

Director of Sanitation & Logistics

  • Role Overview: Infrastructure Lead | Reports To: Chief of Staff & Operations Mission: To protect the physical integrity and mechanical health of the Vessel, ensuring a sterile and high-functioning environment.

  • Key Responsibilities: Oversight of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs; Fleet Management (maintenance/inspections); management of the Executive Cook and Housekeeping team.

  • Education Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Logistics, or a related technical field (or equivalent certifications).

  • Experience: 5+ years in facilities or mechanical logistics; proven leadership skills.

  • Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000 per year.

Restoration Fleet Navigator

Restoration Fleet Navigator

  • Role: Logistics & Transport Ambassador | Reports To: Director of Sanitation & Logistics Mission: To provide safe, dignified emergency transportation and community-facing brand representation.

  • Key Responsibilities: Strict "Name-to-Face" safety protocols; coordinate maintenance with the Director; "Boutique" supply chain delivery.

  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; active CDL (preferred but not always required for smaller vans) or high-level chauffeur experience.

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional driving with an impeccable record; OCFS Health & Safety Transportation certification required.

  • Salary Range: $22 – $28 per hour.

Executive Cook

  • Role Culinary Lead | Reports To: Director of Sanitation & Logistics Mission: To operate the Legacy Pantry, providing nutritionist-certified meals that nourish the body and soul.

  • Key Responsibilities: Menu planning exceeding USDA standards; kitchen sanitation management; dietary/allergy log maintenance.

  • Education Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts or Nutrition; ServSafe Manager Certification.

  • Experience: 3+ years in professional kitchen management (school or medical settings preferred).

  • Salary Range: $20 – $26 per hour.

Executive Cook

THE RESTORATION TEAM (Rise & Resolve)

Director of Family Success

  • Role Overview: Lead Restoration Strategist | Reports To: CEO & COO Mission: To bridge the gap between families and prosperity by managing high-level advocacy and community impact.

  • Key Responsibilities: Quarterly Impact Reporting for state auditors; primary liaison for DSS, DOL, and DOH; long-term partnership development.

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), Public Policy, or Human Services.

  • Experience: 7+ years in case management or community advocacy.

  • Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 per year (Contractual).

Family Success Concierge

Family Success Concierge

  • Role: Parent Navigator & Boutique Manager | Reports To: CEO & COO Mission: To provide "white-glove" service to every family, ensuring a seamless journey from enrollment to total family restoration.

  • Key Responsibilities: Professional tours and enrollment management; curation of the Boutique Provisions Studio; hands-on assistance with benefit applications.

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies, Communication, or Social Work.

  • Experience: 3–5 years in customer relations or family advocacy.

  • Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000 per year (Contractual).

Professional Development & Wellness (The "L&L Advantage")

  • OCFS Training: We provide and facilitate the 30 hours of mandatory training required by the state every two years.

  • HIPAA & Privacy Training: All staff receive professional certification in privacy protocols to ensure family confidentiality is maintained at a healthcare-grade level.
